STYLES
When choosing the correct lash design we need to take into account the condition and amount of your natural lashes, the size and shape of your eyes and the desired effect. Our Lash Artists are experts in assisting you to choose your perfect look – of course because of the ‘semi-permanent’ nature of Eyelash Extensions you can experiment with a variety of designs as often as you wish.
Different lash sets have varying numbers of lashes that are applied, this is not a precise number but more a guideline as to the type of effect that will be achieved - from natural to dramatic.
FLICK
Between 10 to 15 lashes are applied to the outer corners of the eyes.
ULTRA NATURAL
Approximately 30-40 eyelash extensions are applied in various lengths throughout the lash line - this will achieve a very natural look and will not be overly noticeable.
SUPA NATURAL
Around 40-50 eyelash extensions are applied evenly throughout the lash line - various lengths will be used - this is the most suitable set for those who want a natural, yet noticeable look.
MINX
Around 50-60 lashes are applied to each eye - this is the most commonly requested set and will give the appearance of thick, lush eyelashes.
SUPA MINX
Eyelash extensions are applied to every suitable natural eyelash - definite WOW factor.
LASH DESIGN STYLES
The Flirt
10 to 20 eyelash extensions are applied to the outer edge of the eyes for the most naturally flirtatious look.
The Lynx
This is most suited to almond shaped eyes, for this design shorter lashes start in the inner corner of the eye and gradually blend with ever increasing longer lashes until reaching the outer corner of the eye. Curl types can be mixed throughout if desired for additional effect - depending on the natural curl of your own lashes.
The Garbo
Most effective for deep set eyes – lashes will be long and all of the same length to bring out the eye. Any curl type can be used depending on the desired look.
The Parisienne
Best suited to round shaped eyes - short lashes will be used throughout most of the lash length, blended with some longer lengths on the outer corners. Any length and curl type can be used depending on the natural eyelashes and desired result.
The above designs are the most commonly sought after, however we realise that everyone’s eyes are different and so we personally tailor your look by combining the above designs to create your own individual custom design specifically to suit your eyes.
SPECIAL EFFECTS
Coloured Lash Extensions
Coloured eyelash extensions create a fashionable, glamorous look – they can be added in a variety of colours to blend in with your black eyelash extensions, or even used just on their own on the outer corners of the eyes.
Supa-Thick Lash Extensions
These can be used on clients who have strong natural lashes, however they are usually only used for special occasions such as wedding days, photo shoots, balls etc.
NATURAL LASHES
Fine Natural Lashes
Lightweight eyelash extensions will be applied to ensure that your own lashes are not put under any stress.
Strong Natural Lashes
Lucky you! These lashes will support nearly any length and weight of eyelash extension, however it is not recommended that supa-thick lashes are applied on a regular basis.
Curly Natural Lashes
Shorter, more curly lashes are applied in order to maximise the bonding area.
